"Life is about...staying true our hearts and our dreams." - Great book! I was looking for unique style, prose and poetry, easy and fun to read, Life and Love - I found it! Wonderful.
Tige Lewis Quintina is an amazing gifted writer who has a unique creative style that I absolutely love. I am one who usually reads non-fiction and science journals, but "Gelatin Silver Print" brought me back to the fine classic literature I once couldn't get enough of. "Gelatin Silver Print" is an intelligent, moving, and beautifully written story that is a definite page turner taking you through several emotions in life; you won't want to place this book down for a moment until finished. Tige Quintina is quick witted and doesn't miss a beat, I especially enjoy his imaginative way of intertwining poetry within the stories. I can't wait for this author's second book to come out!
I was a bit intimidated starting this book, clearly written by an individual well educated in literature and arts. I was sure I wouldn't be able to follow the rich text BUT THIS WAS NOT THE CASE. Once I began I realized that the colorful words, poems, references, even the character names took you to moments that felt as if you were there in some rich scene playing out as you read. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and cannot wait to read more of his work.
As a rather voracious consumer of printed material, I tore through this book, as is my wont but now find myself rereading it, desirous of immersion in the reflection of man's life.I shall compose a review after my second read of it.
This is the intriguing insight of a man's reflection of life as it is captured in print. Quintina delivers the veritable truth of the written word that honors those Kodak moments; the love of family, friendships, romances and life.

This is a poignant page turner that seduces you with the summer and the sea. The senses are stirred as you taste the salt in the air and on the rim of the iced margarita on a hot day. You can't escape the gritty sand under your feet as if you were playing right then and there on the beach.

Quintina delivers a tale using a mastery of poetry, script and narrative without skipping the beat of passion that pulsates within our soul mirroring the vulnerable and conflicting quest for love. He writes my favorite line, `Her voice called for him to follow like the sound of the ocean that calls to sailing men.'

Twice read and twice left feeling I wanted to remain in the depths of the pages of enveloping warmth and truth....please Quintina write more... much more ......

The stylized approach is interesting and somewhat unique. The narration and reflections on one's search for love make it somewhat entertaining to read. The writing is rich but can be self indulgent at times. Overall, it's an adequate book to pass time with, but not a soul enriching book by any means.
