I always say that i will read anything but the one thing that draws me in is the title. So how could i resist a book with a title like this? As the first word in the writers imagination it should say something, and obviously this title says a lot.
I loved it. I loved everything about it. As a guy im probably not meant to and maybe go read some shallow action story instead. but i much prefer this. The characters were fun, sometimes light hearted and often bizarre but not overly so. the infectious humour of the writer was a win from the first page onward.
The story centers around an unfortunate woman and her unlucky life, her crazy family and her adorable dog. you need a great dog in a great story. everything just seems to be falling apart in dramatic fashion with a very credible villain and a stressed out job but there's a very likable hero waiting nearby. There were plenty of twists and turns and enough drama to keep anyone happy. the humour and the craziness persists until you have to start reading faster to get to the end to see what is going to happen next. at no point in the story does it disappoint.
I say of this that it doesn't matter what kind of story you like. you will like this

PostTraumatic Brazilian Wax Syndrome eBook Tamara Lyon Reviews

This book wasn't for me.

I should have expected this book would not be something I would appreciate from the title, but I thought it might be worth a laugh. It wasn't my cup of tea. The writing is good, it was the content I couldn't immerse myself in.
I want to say this book was so funny, and so honest, and I loved it. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to read this story. Bristow and Jack were adorable and ALL of the side stories with different characters were easy to follow along, and I just want to say I thought it was truly awesome.
I very much enjoyed this book. Once I started, I nearly finished in one sitting (had to take a break at 1am). I admit, I had some trouble looking past the title at first - repressed Midwesterner here - but once I did, it was a fabulous read. There were some tears, some giggles, and a few frustrating moments. The main character is a poster child for letting insecurity stop you from seeing opportunities right before your eyes, which is something to which many people should be able to relate. I finished the entire book via the app on my smartphone in just a few hours. Perfect fun escape for anyone trying to fit a little entertainment into a busy schedule. I'm looking forward to Ms. Lyon's next one.
This is a wonderfully written book with intelligent vocabulary, and a magnetic pull throughout. I literally laughed, cried, worried, hated, loved, and rooted for the characters all the way through, and couldn't wait to pick it up again every time I had to put it down. It takes a talented writer to write not only an interesting / fun /exciting story, but one that keeps the reader wanting more and elicits such an emotional response in the reader; throughout the entire book. I really enjoyed this book! Very talented author! Looking forward to much more from her & have purchased her previously published books to read in the meantime!
Absolutely loved this book! Right from the beginning I could not put it down. The delightful descriptions and metaphors that Tamara Lyon uses is excellent. I laughed a lot (cried a little. Very little). The characters are so easy to relate to and I feel as though I personally know each and every one of them. I have read all of Tamara Lyons books and each time could barely wait for the next one. Definitely an excellent read.
I read this book in one sitting. When I first decided to read this book I was thinking it was going to be a laugh a minute. There is so much more to this book than it's awesome humor. I cried. I don't cry reading books. There is so many emotions running around in this book.

I don't do spoilers in my reviews and chances are you already read the blurb about the book. You don't need a book report from me telling you about the book. What I will tell you is that I cried, laughed and sat on the edge of my seat. All in one book, all in one day. Don't let the title or the cover fool you. It is so worth the read.

Plot, great. Writing, great. Characters, believable. Sex scenes, PG rated. Recommend this book to a friend, OH YEA!
It made me sad to only give this book three stars. It made me laugh and it made me cry. The story is original. It is very well told. The characters are likeable and hateable. But I especially liked that even the bad guys had at least one redeeming quality. At least most of them did. So why only three stars? The one thing this book lacked is a good proof reader! Nothing pulls me out of a story faster than poor grammar including the use of wrong words that make me have to stop and figure out what the author really meant. It annoys me to have a potentially great read ruined by something so easily avoided.
