This book was very well written. It is a journal of the life of one young lady, plus I liked how each Character had a Chapter of their own. The ending was so surprising that I had to go back to the Chapter where a certain event happened (and that isn't easy to do on the Kindle, you need to buy the Book! :-) ) The Kindle version was great because there were many words that I had to look up in the Dictionary and it is easy to do on the Kindle. The Author's words were chosen wisely! Very engaging love story!

A very entertaining story about a new, young teacher navigating her first teaching job at a boarding school. The story reveals to the reader the unique community of individuals that make up a boarding school environment in a humorous and engaging way. Shortly after starting into this book, I realized my knowledge of new vocabulary was going to grow enormously, so unless you are a logophile (look it up), have a dictionary handy. I enjoyed the plot, the character development, and the ending; it was a sweet surprise.
Ms. Sloan’s novel is like diving into a warm bowl of alphabet soup. Thoughtful, engaging and entertaining. I would highly recommend.
