Finding Kylie turned out to be better than I had originally expected. Everything Chastity learns and deals with is only making her stronger. I don't know what to expect from the second book Facing Redemption but I do hope that in the end everybody finds their own inner peace and that Chastity learns to trust her heart to guide her when it comes to love. Kimberly McKay has turned out to be an excellent writer. Nothing about this novel was remotely boring. Anticipation at its sweetest.

I read the paperback edition of "Finding Kylie", which I received as a gift from the author. Frankly, when I saw that the story was from a Chrstian perspective, I was skeptical about reading the book. I was pleasantly surprised. There were references to spirituality without overt preaching. That sold me on the storyline. I love the characters and look forward to completing the series!
After a few chapters I had trouble stopping. It's a compelling story and I'm heading straight to the sequel. I won't spoil it but this book has a fantastic ending. And I really needed it. Thank you, Kimberly McKay!
If there weren't so many typos and formatting errors, I would have given it 5 stars.
I enjoyed this book a lot. My only regret was the fact that it had a cliffhanger. I really wish the authors would mention this one the first book. I have been drawn in to this book so I had to purchase the next one. Even with the cliffhanger and having to get another book, I still recommend this book.
The reference to violence and some sexual content were part of the story, a retelling of an event. The story was well told and look forward to reading "Finding Redemption" The story flowed, entertained, and I found it difficult to stop reading. Thank you Kimberly for an exciting afternoon.
This is one of the best books I have read in a long time. I read Kimberly McKays second book finding redemption and wanted to read finding Kylie. At the time I could not find the book for sale. I went to Ms McKays email and ask where I could find the book. She was so kind and sent me a signed copy. When I saw it for sale again at I wanted a copy on my so ordered. I have yet to read the third book but looking forward to another great book
Kylie Wayne died of cancer before she could reveal to 25 year old Chastity why they had been on the run for so many years. As she sifts through her mother's journals and asks questions of Aunt Cheryl, Kylie's best friend since they were teens, Chastity discovers the other side of her lineage, and it's not what she was hoping for. A decent read but had spelling errors, maybe just the digital versions suffer from these, but that's why 3 stars. Good storyline & characters.
I left my reading days behind, YEARS ago, but when Finding Kylie came out... yes I bought it because I went to school with the author, but to my surprise, it was an EASY page turner! The book kept you wanting to know more, it brought on a wide range of emotions that most of us can relate too.
Definitely going to catch up and buy the others!!!
